Please visit and listen to my Westchester High School Wind Ensemble YouTube recordings from 1970-1972. These selections were placed on the UIL Texas Prescribed Music List and performed at national and state contests, bringing recognition to these outstanding students of Westchester High School, Spring Branch Tndependent School District, Houston Texas. The Wind Ensembles of 1970-72, averaged 22 Texas All-State members each year, leading all other Texas High Schools. Quite an achievement for these outstanding students! The Westchester Band and Wranglerettes were the first Texas High School group to be selected for this prestigious event and won the contest and were given 15 minutes of International performance time to a viewing audience of millions throughout the world.
